The article “Waste oil recycling in pulsed-wave reactor “YARUS” to produce kerosene fractions. Report 2” is published.

Unconventional method of marine waste oil recovery in the “YARUS” reactor is proposed. Ligroin-kerosene fraction yield of 68 wt% (on the feedstock) was obtained in the “YARUS” reactor during refining of ship’s waste low-viscosity fuel after processing unit’s washing.

The ligroin-kerosene fraction can be used as raw material to produce the aircraft kerosene or oil solvent.

The combination of different methods of treatment (hydrodynamic, thermal, electromagnetic, and acoustic) in the “YARUS” reactor allows using the reactor in а process of recovery of waste oil products.

Previously it was shown that the use of the “YARUS” reactor allows to raise the oil recovery factor in high-viscosity oil and natural bitumen production; to reduce the viscosity of heavy oil and to prepare it for pipeline transportation; to raise the yield of light fractions in order to obtain an additional amount of motor fuels.
