The article “Waste oil recycling in pulsed-wave reactor “YARUS” to produce gasoline fractions. Report 1” is published.

The ship low-viscosity fuel in a quantity of 20 t / d is used for flushing the pyrolysis furnaces of resins and organic deposits in PJSC “Kazanorgsintez”. Gasoline fraction 75–180 ºС yield of 10 wt% (on the feedstock) was obtained in the “YARUS” reactor during refining of ship’s waste fuel, which may be used as a component of automobile gasoline or oil solvent.

Processing medium is ionized in the local areas of the reactor; pulse-wave effects on hydrocarbons causes destructive processes with the formation of low molecular weight compounds.

The combination of different methods of treatment (hydrodynamic, thermal, electromagnetic, and acoustic) in the “YARUS” reactor allows using the reactor in а process of recovery of waste oil products.
